Azin began his youth career at SpVg Porz-Gremberghoven before joining the youth academy of 1. FC Köln. He made his debut in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga in August 2008 and contributed to the team's victory in the U-19 Bundesliga West title and the Mittelrheinpokal in 2008 and 2009.
